Cut
I'm not much of a reader but this book is great. Well, for me it is. This book is about a girl named Callie and she cuts herself and is sent to a special hospital. She meets new people and she finds out why they were sent to that special hospital too. The name of the place is called Sea Pines and is a treatment philosophy. Most of the girls in the treatment philosophy are anorexic, but in the treatment philosophy they call them guest with issues. Some are druggies, and they are called guest with substance- abuse issues. The rest, like Callie, are assorted psychos. They're called guest with behavior issues. There are also groups, they talk about their issues. I've only read part of it, I'll tell you more about it next time.
The Dictionary of Idioms
Am I stupid for wanting to read this book? I think not. However I'm most likely the only one who is reading this. The book, is called: "The Dictionary of Idioms." That's right, I'm reading this. Why, because of the fact that no one would think to read this. At least not to my knowledge. I personally chose this book, because I am a fan of idioms. Plus I figured that an idea of mine (which will remain anonymous,) can be brought throughout this book. If you enjoy idioms like i do, this will be an interesting book to read.

The 39 Clues
The Series 39 Clues by author Rick Riordan is about two young children named Haley and Patrick who are about to discover the biggest family secret of their life. Haley and Patrick's Grand mom is about to die because of old age right now and so far she is at her lawyer and Saladin are going over of what all family are going to receive, however she is also more focused on the family power that has been passed on for 600 years as a long family tradition. Grand mom Saladin is worried about passing it on to Haley and Patrick because of their young age, and since they know nothing about the mysterious power the family has! From this point my prediction is Haley and Patrick will probably miss use the family power because they don't have any knowledge on it at all! So far this book sounds very interesting because of its detailed suspense. hope my prediction is true!

The Skin I'm In
The Noval, "The Skin I'm In" by Sharon Flakes is about a young girl named Maleeka around the age of 12 because she's in the 7th grade and is being bullied in school by a another student who is a male named John-John. This student is calling is calling Meleeka all kinds of mean names because she's darker then all the other students in her school. Also Maleeka and her mother are going through some hard times because her father died three years ago and her mother is just now starting to get herself together. This is hard for Maleeka in many ways because ever since her father died Maleekas mother as found it very hard to earn money for the both of them. Maleekas mother don't have money like other parent in the neighborhood so she has to go and make Maleeka clothes herself instead of having the money to buy them from the store. Maleekas mother cant really sow that good so the clothes that her mother makes for her falls apart in school and some are made very unevenly. One pant leg is always higher then the other, or a collar is always to big and falls off her shoulders. At school this gives John-John another reason to make fun of Maleeka in front of everyone, he would get everyone to sing a mean song about Maleeka, "Maleeka, Maleeka we really wanna miss her but she so black can't even see her" that's a really mean song. But in a good way this sort of helps them out because after Maleekas father died her mother turned to sewing to confer her from the sadness.
Maleekas "friend" Charlese nickname Char is giving Maleeka some of her clothes to wear everyday in the girls bathroom so that Maleeka doesn't have to wear uneven, hammy down Salvation Army clothes that her mother makes her and gets from the Salvation Army. Even though Char is helping Maleeka she is also being very mean to Maleeka all the time, embarrassing her in front of everyone, making Maleeka do everything for her like shes some kind of slave, and forcing her to do bad and dangerous things that she don't want to do. Things sorta changed for Maleeka when a new teacher Ms. Sounders came to her school. Ms Saunders helped Maleeka see herself different, not just someone so is Black. Ms. Saunders helped Maleeka by showing her she was a good writer and that's how Maleeka released all her stress, At the end of the story Maleeka was framed for buring Ms. Saunders class room when Char made her it, she really didn't have no choice she is scared of Char. There was a boy name Caleb who was the smartest boy in the school and also the sweetest. This boy had a crush on Maleeka and he always told her that he likes the way she looks and wrote her notes and love stories. When the kids at the school found out that Caleb and Maleeka was hanging out they started making fun of her even more, and Caleb left Maleeka, because he thought that if he left Maleeka alone then no one would mess with her anymore but it didn't actually turn out like that they still made fun of her. But then Caleb came back to Maleeka at the end of the story by writing her a sweet love poem.
Would you be my Almaond Joy
My chocolate chip, my Hershey Kiss
My Sweet dark chocolate butter chip?
Hand and hand we'd walk to class
and sit and talk in sweet grass.
Rollar coaster way up high,
pick moonbeans from out the sky.
Would you be my Almond Joy
My chocolate chip, my Hershey Kiss
My sweet dark chocolate butter crips?

Kira-Kira
I finished Kira-Kira. In the end, Lynn died of lymphoma and anemia. A couple weeks before she died, Katie was painting Lynn's nails. Lynn said she wishes she had glittery pink nail polish, so Katie went to the Five and Ten store and stole some. She got caught, but she wrenched her arm out of the hand that caught her and ran home. The next afternoon, the lady from the store came and told Katie's parents. Katie was ashamed. She and Lynn got into a fight two days before she Lynn died. Katie was with Lynn until 10 minutes before she died. Katie was outside then her dad came outside and told her that Lynn was "gone". The funeral service was held at their home. For 49 days after Lynn died, Katie, their mom, and their dad kept an alter of Lynn on Lynn's desk in the kids' room. After that 49th day, Lynn, their parents, and Sammy, the little brother, went on a family vacation to where Lynn always wanted to go: California. It was a good, but very sad story. If you cry about things like this, read it. It will give a very nice cry.

The book that I have resently read is Chu Ju's House. The author is Gloria Whelan. It is one of the NewYork Times best sellers and I definitly agree. The story takes place in modern day China. China is the most populated place in the whole world so therefor if you live in the country ou can only have 2 children and
if you live in the city than you can only have 3 children but however if you were very wealthy and you whanted more than 2 or 3 children than you would have to pay a huge fine. The consequense fo having more children is that they would take your child away. Chu Ju's parents tend to have a boy but they had another girl and they cannot keep he so they desided to give her up for adoption which is something that they really dont whant to do so therefor Chu Ju desides to leave her home and live on her own. Threw out the story she goes threw many tremendos jorney just for the sake of protecting her little sister. It is really amazing. Just imagine leaving home at 13 at living on your own.

Kira-Kira
Now that I have finished my first book I am reading a new book. It is called Kira-Kira. It is like a Japanese version of My Sister's Keeper. The oldest sister, Lynn, becomes very ill. She can't do much of anything. She and her family have just recently moved to Georgia from Iowa. Before and much after, Lynn would stay with her younger sister, Katie, no matter what. After they moved, Lynn befriended one of the popular girls at their school. Lynn started to act like Amber, the popular girl. Katie doesn't like it very much. She now has to think of ways to get Lynn to still play with her, even to talk to her. She must take care of Lynn now that she is sick. That's all I have read so far.
Diary of a Whimpy kid
The story im reading is a humorous story called Diary of a Whimpy. It is about a kid that lives a miserable life with his annoying two brothers named Rodrick the big brother, and Manny the youngest brother. The main charcter is Gregory he's a boy that goes to school to get picked on but he does have one good friend named Rowley. Greg and Rowley are not ordinary teenagers they do little kids things like go trick -or- treating play video games 24/7 and takes bath's with bubbles. So far on what I read this story is halorious you should try to get this book if your day is like a slump and you want to laugh!!!
Stormbreaker
I read part of the book "Stormbreaker". Why part, because the book is total crap! The book was about a little boy named "Alex" who just finds out that his uncle, was a spy, and that his uncle's job as a bank worker was just a cover up. Now, could the book sound any more cliche? Spies in a story. In fact, in reality, that doesn't fit right. Anyway, along the way in the story, the organization Alex's uncle worked for, (Which in the story, doesn't even leagally exist.) was trying to find out more information about a new computer called "Stormbreaker", once again coming to the idea of how cliche the book is. A part of the story having the same name as the story. However in the story, to get to the prototype Stormbreaker, Alex had to do identity theft, since in the story, Alex takes the identity of a kid named "Felix Lester", who somehow won the chance to be the first to try the Stormbreaker in a contest. Now why identity theft? Plus, that was their idea, they already had the idea of identity theft planned the whole time. You'll probably know more then I, but this book, is literally, the worst book I've ever read. It's worst then the book "Dissappearence", and THAT'S saying something. However, I really don't care if you agree with me or not on this book, but you try reading it, and see what you think.

Twilight Saga: New Moon
The book I read was New Moon. It was the second book in the Twilight Series. There are four books. These books are generally about a high school girl named Bella who falls in love with a high school vampire named Edward. In this book, Edward and Bella started their senior year of high school. In the middle of the first month of school, Edward left Bella for one reason: he was tracking Victoria, one of the bad vampires that wants to kills Bella. But thats not want he told her. He had told Bella that he is leaving her because he wanted her to have a normal human life. If you are a girl, or guy, that loves vampires and/or romance, these books are definitely for you. They are wonderful books.

I know why the caged bird sings by Maya Angelo
I am reading “ I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings” by Maya Angelo.
It is about how Marguerite a.k.a. Maya gooes to South Stamps with her older brother( Bailey) when her parents get a divorce. They spend many years there until her father comes and picks them up and takes them to their mothers home in California. Soon after, the most terrible thing happens and Maya gets sexually assulted by her mother's boyfriend three times and the last time is when she got raped. It was ashame because each time he told her if she told and the last time he told her if she screamed then he will kill her. Also, this was when she was a little eight year old girl and he was in his forties. Maya be came to scared to tell anyone for the safety of her beloved older brother. When Maya's mother and brother found out they had told Maya's uncles and grandparents( who had a lot of power). They had a trial and had won. Her mom's boyfriend had recieved a year and a day but had gotten released on the same day. The day after the trial the police went to her grandparents house to tell them that Maya's mom's boyfriend had been found dead and Maya felt like it was her fault so she just stopped speaking altogether( although she still would say a few words to Bailey). That is all I had read so far!
SKELETON MAN by: Joseph Bruchac
This story so far is a really good book. The author speaks in "I" as her being the person in the story. To start off this story, she woke up her to find her house completely silent. She looked around for her mom and dad but could find them. She misses a day of school hoping her parents come back. Both of her parents employers call to check if her parents were home. She told them her parents were really sick. When her teacher find out she was alone, she told her that she could stay with her. She decided to stay home, then some people came and busted in her house. They took her away. The next morning they take her to see some man who claims he's her uncle. He takes her away and locks her in a room. The first night after dinner she was scared but kwowing that she was locked in relaxed her a little. So far that's all I have read.
